The SEO Engineer Handbook
What I document internally, distilled for you. The doctrine, not the secret recipe.
This documentation is not a simple SEO guide. It is the operating system of modern SEO engineering: an architecture of thinking, auditing and measurement that turns a digital presence into an algorithmic entity that machines can understand, connect and trust. Classic SEO optimizes pages. SEO engineering designs systems of understanding.
Content attracts attention. The entity builds memory. An indexed page is not necessarily an understood entity. A visible brand is not necessarily a credible brand. The SEO Engineer's role is to organize the signals that let algorithmic systems answer three questions: who is this entity, what is it connected to, and why should it be trusted.
01 · What is an SEO Engineer
The SEO Engineer designs, audits and governs the systems that let search engines, knowledge graphs and AI understand a digital entity. It combines web architecture, structured data, semantic analysis, Knowledge Graph, AI, measurement and governance.
Classic SEOSEO Engineer
Optimizes pagesBuilds entities
Works keywordsWorks graphs
Produces contentStructures knowledge
Tracks rankingsMeasures understanding
Chases trafficChases algorithmic recognition
The SEO Engineer does not ask machines to rank a page. He gives them the proof to recognize an entity.
02 · The Entity SEO doctrine
Entity SEO makes search engines, knowledge graphs and AI recognize, understand, connect and validate an entity. It is not only about being visible. It is about being identifiable, disambiguated, connected and credible.

Depends on contentDepends on proof and relationships
Measured by volumeMeasured by understanding
Content attracts. The entity stays.
03 · SFT, the audit translation of the doctrine
SFT is the Entity SEO audit and engineering method built on three pillars: Structure, Flow, Trust. Structure evaluates internal clarity. Flow evaluates how meaning and authority circulate. Trust evaluates external credibility.
ScoreLevelInterpretation
0-20CriticalInvisible or incoherent entity
21-40WeakFragile entity
41-60MediumPartially understood entity
61-80SolidStructured and credible entity
81-100DominantStrong, connected and trusted entity
A useful audit does not describe chaos. It gives the repair order.
04 · Entity Confidence, the resulting score
Entity Confidence synthesizes Structure, Flow and Trust into one number. It answers one question: how understandable, connected and trusted is this entity for machines? A full report contains a global score, per-pillar scores, diagnostics, priorities and a roadmap.
This handbook keeps being written. The full version feeds the SFT engagement.
